| 631697 | 2008-01-24 20:58:00 | Good idea, what I want to know is why guys who are ABA only get abducted and anally probed by ugly monsters. Why are they never abducted by beautiful alien women and mercilessly used as sex toys while being kept in the lap of luxury somewhere in the thereabouts of Alpha Centauri where telepathy and cellphone coverage is nil so the wife can't find them. Cheers Billy 8-{) :p We can conclude from the above, there is no God. |

Before you can tell the world about your experience you first have to come up with a reason why you werent carrying your phone. Looking forward to some non plausible explanations. |

They were created to control the mumbling masses and to appease the egos of those who were too arrogant and self important to believe that death was truly the end of them . Certain versions of god were crafted to extract as much money as possible from appeased believers before and after death in order to keep the carriers of god's word in the manner to which they would like to become accustomed . Ascendence to your personal heaven can be achieved on earth simply by dying knowing that you always did what was right to the best of your ability, and never knowingly hurt anybody . Some call it a clear conscience, others call it absolution and offer to sell it to you, usually on time payment . No guarantees, no credit, no returns, no refunds, no complaints department . It all stopped when as a teenager near Marton, I was first on the scene of a car accident with a Nun in uniform frothing blood and dying in a mangled car another one badly injured. Then and there I thought if there was a god he wouldnt let people who devoted themselves to his work die like this. I have no worries about bad asses getting killed. And I thought if there was god he is stink god who has no control over whats going to happen prayer or not. I love it when the numbnuts say ther prayers where answered when they are saved. They stay quiet when prayers dont work dont they. C1 |

At the same time,it does keep some nasty bugger in check, which otherwise would be making things unpleasant for we atheists . |

| 631702 | 2008-01-25 22:35:00 | We can conclude from the above, there is no God. The concept of God appears to be in the mind of the beholder, so to say that there is no God is a wee bit harsh. You have heard, no doubt, of the Cargo Cult. My father saw examples of that when he served in Guadalcanal in WW2. The natives built wooden fridges and every so often they would open the door, but no food. They had also noticed the Americans talking on their radio. Shortly afterwards the big bird would land and disgorge large amounts of incredible goodies, the likes of which they had never seen before. They built wooden radios but they never seemed able to contact the gods. Apparently, after everyone left after the war, the natives noticed that the gods still flew overhead, so they built straw planes and positioned them around the airfield in the hope that those flying overhead would see the planes and come down to visit. Unfortunately that did not happen. After hearing that it made me wonder, what did go on at the time of Jesus? Was it a matter of seeing something that they did not understand and so they wrote about it the best they could? Read Ezekiel Chapter One, the first 28 verses and try to understand what it is they are speaking about. "A great cloud with raging fire engulfing itself." "The appearance of their wheels and their workings was, as it were, a wheel in the middle of a wheel." None of the above can be scientifically proven or reproduced so I imagine that it will be debunked by the disbelievers among us, but what makes anyone think that what was written was anything less than accurate? If you, as ancient man, had never seen anything like that before, how could you make it up? What an imagination! I would like to be able to travel back in time so I could see, with my 21st century knowledge, what it was that they were writing about. |

Should any absolved true believer, fully prayed up on all subscriptions, die and find themselves unable to enter heaven, they are entitled to a full refund. Of course, if you have the wrong brand of belief, it is tough luck. Car dealers are trying to adopt a similar policy. |
