785341 2009-06-24 01:57:00 i have been trying to find out how to lock the keyboard and the advice is to press windows logo + L but when i do this it doesn't lock but rather goes to switch user! what am i doing wrong? andon (13785)
785342 2009-06-24 02:00:00 I'm not aware of any key combination in windows to lock the keyboard, and pressing the Windows Key + L is supposed to throw you back to the logon screen.

In Vista and Windows 7 it does 'lock' your user account.

785344 2009-06-24 02:03:00 It says lock the computer, not lock the keyboard. wratterus (105)
785345 2009-06-24 02:05:00 ka pai so is there no short cut to just lock the keyboard / mouse? andon (13785)
785346 2009-06-24 02:06:00 Nope, none that I've ever heard of.

Get a USB keyboard and mouse and unplug them? :p
