785271 2009-06-24 01:14:00 The time has come. :p

Not interested in a combo (HD DVD + Blu-Ray) unless its outstanding value. Doesn't need to write, however if there was a BD-RW drive for a decent price, that would save an upgrade later on.

Looking at one of these at the moment, reviews seem to be very much of a muchness, does anyone own one or have an opinion on a particular brand? I was kind of thinking Sony, since they made the format, but I highly doubt that will make any difference. The LiteOn one looks good value, and although LiteOn seem to cop a fair bit of flack, I've had a really good run with them. Got two LiteOn drives in my PC at the moment.

Thanks! :)

785272 2009-06-24 01:47:00 I was looking at the Asus Drive (www.playtech.co.nz) - ( not from that shop, but from my vendors) the shop linked has them - Mainly because Asus Drives have generally always been good.

AND they have pretty blue lettering :wub

Never did get around to it SWMBO wanted the kitchen decorated.

Too bad most can't afford a blu-ray drive+blu-ray movies.

Full HD is so good everyone should be able to indulge in it....:p
