It's bad enough being in the same district, let alone a lift.

Guess I'm lucky?

633926 2008-01-25 11:36:00 I have some friends who have an old British bulldog - when that thing farts - about twice a day - the room is immediately cleared of people. They are that bad.

633927 2008-01-25 20:04:00 I suppose that in a car you can at least stop and run for it before the second inhalation comes due.
The best trick for the lift problem may be to glare accusingly at the mildest looking fellow-passenger - a bit more misery is ok as long as it is inflicted on someone else. Whatever you do, don't laugh.

633928 2008-01-25 20:25:00 Our dog farted in the car every time she stuck her head out the window, head would be out the window, mouth wide open and the rear end would letting out sulphurous cabbage farts, not the greatest car ventilation system Morgenmuffel (187)

At least you only had to hold your breath for a minute or two. Try sleeping with someone who sometimes spends the entire night trying to poison you. Waking up gagging and desperately trying to find some non-poluted air to inhale in the pillow is not conducive to a good night's sleep, that's for sure. :(

It's a wonder that I'm still alive.
