786186 2009-06-27 03:07:00 Hey how can I expand my primary partition in Windows Vista?
Have a 500gb with 2 partitions 45 gb and 422 and I shrunk the 422 to 322 and now I want to give the extra 100gb to my C.

It's free, easy to use and works great.
Of cause the warning about backing up your data before doing anything with your partitions still stands.

It would certainly be wise to do what Blam says !

786191 2009-06-28 06:00:00 Yes, certainly, image the partitions .

But Vista can do the job for you . The disk manager needs to slide the 100MB partition to the left, placing it on the right of the C: partition . Next step, expand the C: to include the 100MB .

It does work - I have done it with my Vista Home Premium installation .
