| 634603 | 2008-01-28 10:16:00 | I have to agree with Metla about I Am Legend. It was all cracked up to be an awesome movie, but was a real letdown when I saw it. One word. LAME. :yuck: Thank You, God God awful movie that. Can't believe I sat through that and my friends liked it. |

| 634605 | 2008-01-28 23:28:00 | Has anyone seen cloverfield?? Is it any good? I saw it last night. My boys (20 and 23 year old) did not like it. They said not enough action. I liked it though. Except for the boring 1st 20 minutes. I thought it was a good 'monster' movie. Reminds me of my childhood and 'Mothra' and the like with a modern twist and much better special effects. By the way, if anybody else sees it can ya take note of the last scene and tell me what happens in the background? I'm not sure of what I saw... |

I whole heartedly agree about WMG. :thumbs: Casino Royale was really 2006, but I agree, was a brilliant movie. |

(small spoilers) The last scene, it was taken before the events of the film/monster attack. When I first saw it I simply thought it was the monster diving into the water, but then I read that the director himself said it was a Japanese satellite which fell from the sky, and ended up waking the monster up from deep under the sea. You can look it up on YouTube and get another look at it. (end of spoilers) And for anyone wanting to go see it. Do it. As long as you don't get motion sickness easily (I seriously dunno how people do, ie Blair Witch project) and don't go in expecting heaps of action, you'll love it. I thought it was very creative (monster looked wicked, what we saw of it anyway) and if you can see past the ending (ie after the credits) it was great. |
