We have fleas in the house because of that cats, and fleas are at their worest at this time of the year. You also will need to find the source otherwise you will get them back, so you may need to bomb all rooms. You canusually see them on the carpet. | robbyp (2751) | ||

Try calamine lotion or at a pinch Savlon Antiseptic Cream, go see your Doctor or a Chemist tomorrow. Try putting a cold, soaked in water flannel/cloth around the affected area. If you have an Aloe Vera plant that may help to ease the stinging. |

Being a hostel, I would check the bedding, bed frame, and crevices in the room (eg skirting boards) for a wee insect called a bed bug (en.wikipedia.org). They only come out at night, although you should really have bites on other parts of your body as well. If you do manage to find a bed bug, let the hostel management know because they may have to fumigate other rooms. Other than that, get a flea bomb can from the supermarket and set it off in your room when you are out. Don't forget to warn your room neighbours of this first. Oh. Bed bugs are real??:stare: Parents weren't lying about bed bugs biting?? :horrified *runs around bed with a rifle trying to find the little blood suckers* |
