| 786621 | 2009-07-04 01:55:00 | So your memory was faulty and now you replaced it? Have you checked the new memory with memtest anyway to see if the problem was fixed? Some motherboard faults can show up as bad memory (errors in memtest) What PSU are you running all that on by the way? If you have an underpowered PSU you can get all kinds of strange instability problems. |

Memtest can be booted from floppy/CD/USB flash CD is probably the easiest. download www.memtest.org Unzip the ISO file and burn it to a CD-RW (so you don't waste a CD) Then, reboot the PC with the CD in the drive and your PC should automatically boot from it, and start running the test. |
