| 786470 | 2009-06-28 10:32:00 | I think what the person in the gaming site was referring to is the system spec's of the board compared to the spec's of the RAM Note the RAM spec's for that board: and the RAM The RAM is 1600 MHz, the board will need to Over Clocked for it to work. I would say at a guess he/she said it would fry simply to save having to Over clock. The RAM suggested, to work fully wont do so on a standard Setup. so, could you please tell me, If I brought the G.skill RAM and that motherboard, would the motherboard initially recognize that ram 1.6 Ghz as a stock speed, or would it see it as 1.6 Ghz Overclocked from a slower speed, and would the ram preform as well as it would on a different motherboard, thanks for your help |

Depending on the other choices of RAM at a lower MHz or $$ - if the ones listed are purchased it could be throwing money away. so, could you please tell me, If I brought the G.skill RAM and that motherboard, would the motherboard initially recognize that ram 1.6 Ghz as a stock speed, or would it see it as 1.6 Ghz Overclocked from a slower speed, and would the ram preform as well as it would on a different motherboard, thanks for your help No Idea - Had some boards / RAM that will auto adjust and some wont, and cause all sorts of stability problems, or wont boot at all - put in the recommended Speed Components and alls well --- Really a case of suck it and see. |

Always thought it was a simple mobo feature. If thats the case, then the OP better get some 1333mhz RAM... Blam |
