| 633920 | 2008-01-25 11:09:00 | Morning all. :D Half time - Crusaders 12 Canes 26 Full Time - Crusaders 55 Canes 33 A classic Canterbury finish it was too, the Crusaders scored 3 tries in the last quarter. Thought Luke's kicking was a bit off, he needs to brush up on that. Mind you, he did get a few nasty ones. Far far too many handling errors - from both teams. Hopefully they just need a few games to iron out the creases. I thought the new rules sped things up, especially around the breakdown, and made the game a lot more spectator-friendly. And bloody Jerry Collins! What a hit! On for 5 minutes and in the sin bin already. He is turning into a liability for the Canes! :lol: Did anyone else get to the match last night? Apparently about 11,000 people showed up - more than the whole population of Mot! :blush: Hopefully this game is the start of good things for the Nelson region - now we just need a decent stadium! I really enjoyed it. :thumbs: |
