787306 2009-06-30 07:58:00 When I booted up my PC this morning my monitor went from a black screen to a white screen nothing in between and no windows screen or my desktop, when I unplug the monitor from the PC it still displays only a white screen.
I tested another monitor on the PC and it works so i've come to the conclusion that the monitors broken.

Its a:

19" Viewsonic Widescreen LCD display

So with that being said does anyone know whats wrong with it and can it be repaired? also if it can be fixed a price range would be nice.

787307 2009-06-30 08:11:00 could be a loose connection inside the plug or a bent wire in the cable itself.

can you feel any slight bumps when you run your fingers along the cable?
