635579 2008-01-31 10:41:00 Sweep, Myth has donated a lot of parts so we can fix PJ's PC, as he is a little short on funds, Why the hell do you have a problem with that? Metla (12)
635580 2008-01-31 18:04:00 I'm puzzled still. Myth posted a request for a sound card and was prepared to pay some sort of dollars. You fronted saying you had one for free - he accepted and he posted it worked successfully.

Not sure why you would be upset that Myth is visiting PJ to help him out - its called "pay it forward" and your generous act probably contributed to this act of generousity, well done!

635581 2008-02-01 06:31:00 For the record Sweep...

Yes you gave me a free soundcard, with the premise that I was to give you public acknowledgement when it arrived, which I duly did.

I have already given PJ a PSU free of charge (even dropped it off) and am posting an MSI motherboard and Socket 478 CPU 2.66GHz (soon) ... all working, and also free. And even better, I'm not asking for any acknowledegment whatsoever, coz unlike you, I'm not some publicity seeking prick.

Now ... next time you decide to go barking up the wrong tree, make sure theres not [edit: some things are best left unsaid ...]

635583 2008-02-01 06:57:00 ...its called "pay it forward" :Quite correct. And it was mainly from the respondents to this thread (forums.pcworld.co.nz) and the excessive generosity shown (especially by one who will be glad SA beat Aussie in the 7's ;))

Right... gone fishin ...

I agree with your "pay it forward" comment. We need more people like that in the world that help others without any conditions or demands for acknowledgment. It is called Karma.

Are you upset because Myth has helped another by donating computer goods now he is in that position to do so?

635586 2008-02-01 09:26:00 I would say Sweep is the most "confused" person here, I've had him abuse me for no reason; perhaps an appointment with a medical professional would help ;) feersumendjinn (64)
