637824 2008-02-06 04:53:00 An NEC spokesman told The Register that "it's no secret to point out that people aren't exactly singing the praises of Vista".

He said that NEC had simply responded to punter demands by offering the reverse vasectomy Vista product (www.channelregister.co.uk).

- Where do they get a legal COA for XP Pro, as at the moment only Pro on a business PC's / laptops can be rolled back, or are they selling a OEM of XP Hm?
-How much do they charge for the service, especially since some PC's /Laptops don't have XP drivers, and transferring the persons data to the new install ?

Personally after working on a Vista PC then going back to XP feels like XP back to 98 ;)

637828 2008-02-07 00:39:00 Well, if your income is derived from selling hardware, or fixing problems, Vista has to look pretty good. ;) :D R2x1 (4628)
637829 2008-02-08 02:10:00 What goes up the chimney down, but not down the chimney up?

A puzzle from many years back. I knew that I had filed that amongst the "essential information" documents but forgot where those documents were.

Came across my old umbrella while removing copious quantities of cobwebs from the grey matter. Knew it was there somewhere.

Who cares what it LOOKS like?

But I've been asked to replace Vista with XP.
I say so long as it has drivers available and so long as they want to buy XP I can.
