2008-02-03 22:12:00 | I've been looking on trade me for months now and haven't found any hand built ones or custom modded ones either. I thought that was pretty stink. But is there anyone actually out there that really wants a custom made case or is it just me, and can anyone point out places where you can actually get custom modded cases? | AMD3ALL3THE3WAY3 (116) | |

2008-02-03 22:28:00 | The WMD is awesome! But unless you're going to go that far I really don't see the point. Instead of spending money on a monstrosity of a case why not just get a really good gfx card? Or a flash new giant screen? Or a second flash new giant screen? The only looks that matter to me with comps are on screen. Mind you, everyones different. | Thebananamonkey (7741) | |
2008-02-03 22:32:00 | whats WMD? anyway i was thinking along the lines of a microwave pc or a computer in a heater (not with the heater on!) or built into furniture, anything really out there you know? | AMD3ALL3THE3WAY3 (116) | |
2008-02-03 23:20:00 | You're 13... you need a computer that works. Unless it's your money that's going into it I'd suggest you just be content with what you have. Most people who have custom PC's are just bling. Get a good comp in a well cooled, nice looking lian li, and be content that you have more than you probably need anyway. It's the whole boy racer thing. Strapping on plastic bits all round the car, so that it looks like hi tech aero stuff. It does nothing, and probably seriously compromises what you had in the first place. And makes you look like a knob. Otherwise, the lego one in PCTek's post looks cool. Make that. Or you could go out and learn to weld and make one yourself. That's where the actual satisfaction's at. Not buying one in a store.

2008-02-04 01:28:00 | That's fair enough. I was being a condescending SOB really... He'll do what he wants, and I shouldn't try to sound like a prematurely old fart. | Thebananamonkey (7741) | |
