| 788281 | 2009-07-02 23:19:00 | I am running on separate disks, XP on C: and Vista on G: I had a problem with LTLDR on XP and couldn't resolve it but decided that I wouldn't worry as I was going to Win7 eventually. I decided to load down Win7 from the first Beta disk supplied by PCWORLD (I can't find a free copy of the WIN7 RC disk anywhere); I used a partition on the XP HHD. Lo and behold when I then tried to load XP, there it was just as good as new! I can only assume that Win7 corrected the NTLDR problem I had. If anyone has a similar experience I would like to see if my assumtion is confirmed. |
