788212 2009-07-02 11:53:00 I hope these aren't illegal.

But my laptop drive has somehow managed to change the region it was set to - 4 - by itself to .. 2.

Why would it do that without asking me first?

Anyway I would like to try a free DVD Region Killer program if anyone can advise me of one.

Then I should be able to play The Warehouse "multizone player required" discs, shouldn't I?

Thanks

788214 2009-07-02 11:55:00 You should be able to change your DVD drive back to region 4, unless it's already been changed 4 or 5 times.

If not, take a look at SlySoft's AnyDVD program - that will allow you to watch DVDs from any region. Not a freebie, but it's a good one.

Hi,

I tried using Video Lan because it was recommended in PCWorld this month.

However on trying 3 DVDs, it only worked for one of them.

I don't think I was doing anything wrong.
