| 638552 | 2008-02-09 00:43:00 | More news revealed she is a refugee back in 1994, and ever since she had been demanding Immigration to allow 14 members of her family into NZ. That's just crazy. Send her on a one-way plane back to Somalia. Why we let people into our country who make no attempt to integrate into society is beyond me. |

| 638553 | 2008-02-09 01:10:00 | She got on at Blenheim Airstrip/Airport. It is not much bigger than your average Bus Stop. The staff don't even bother to or need to lock their cars when they come to work there. Country towns work on trust, unlike cities. One crazy in all the years Blenheim Airstrip has been in business does not really call for multi million dollar Security Scanners. But they most likely will and the people who use these services will have to pay more than they do now. Looking at TV last nite the closing and evacuation of CH airport was a way over the top reaction to a small incident. It wasn't like the plan was going to do a WTC to the CH airport... thow on second thoughts we did kill off the strike wing that would have been the only thing that may have stopped it from happening. |

According to media reports, they closed the airport as a bomb threat had been made and they had to clear the plane involved. No planes could land or takeoff anyway. The security services will get flak whatever they do (or don't do). You are dealing with fairly flammable jet fuel. Reminds me of the 767 which was hijacked in Africa and few years again and told to go to Australia. "Sorry we don't have enough fuel to get to Australia". The upshot was they ran out of fuel luckily by an island. Blimin hijacker survived to :horrified . Many passengers drowned because they inflated their lifejackets before they were clear of the aircraft and got trapped in the wreckage. |

I remember something really similar to that, they headed straight for the water not far from an island cuz they ran out of fuel. |

Fees increase anyway be it .. if no new projects or what .. they always make new ideas up .. so better put it to a use. I seen a picture of the cockpit and they have the pilot's sleeping beds under the cockpit that way they minimise going out and thus getting hijacked. |

Must be for threating purposes only...the dangers of firing a gun inside a pressurized cabin while flying at 25,000 feet are well known. Blow out a window and shes all over rover. |
