2008-02-14 09:07:00 | ...They learn't from this mistake after all the Moa were gone. Yeah... Saw Police Police Ten 7 tonight. A Maori dude says "Yeah Man, but I slowed down and then stopped!" He kinda forgot to mention that the reason he slowed down and stopped was because of the 4 flat tyres from the road spikes. And for the /sarcasim "morons" re-read the comments 3 or 4 people have made in this thread and see if you find them highly offensive: - He should have given her her first Shy Diving lesson. - If she could learn to fly before she hit the ground, good for her. - Send her on a one-way plane back to Somalia. Why we let people into our country who make no attempt to integrate into society is beyond me. - Make her swim. Can't hijack anyone then can she - Nah - a plane by herself. Set the remote to fly back to Somalia but only fill it up with enough fuel to get halfway over the Indian Ocean. - Throwing them off is a really good deterrent. Whoops... - Very capital punishment. Lol. It's the way things should work, in the Bible somewhere it's mentioned if there is a piece of your body that causes you to do wrong, you should part company with it. While being a little extreme, it would work. - In the way of plane hijackers, unfortunately, this means parting company with their heads, so throwing them out achieves the same end and is much less stressful and there is no mess created - Let them die as far as I'm concerned. We have enough problems in the country without bringing in these type of refugees who seem to move to the top of the housing and medical ques... - They should have thrown that freak into the plane propellers. That would have been cool. - Mentor with a bullet = cheap and immediate stoppage of that person(s) reoffending. - Just got to be sure that the blood and the rest doesnt get on the windshield or there are wipers installed. That or shooting, with you totally

2008-02-14 09:18:00 | You forgot Fireworks, but they are too dangerous for us pathetic Westerners now and we have to ban them so we won't hurt our sorry selves or start some unwanted fires because there are so many idiots around. Have hated fire works anyway since some kids threw some double happys under the wheels of my motorbike years ago. Kids blowing up the neighbour's letterbox last year wasn't that funny either. Then there is my daughter's friend who wears glasses and has a pock marked face due to an "experiment" Or getting bad sun burn when I was working at a school. Bomb scare and extra time due to, you guessed it, fireworks in a kid's locker that the explosive's dog found These days I just stay home and let the idiots get on with it.

2008-02-14 09:34:00 | and in return for a no-fault insurance scheme we get to avoid civil litigation on the scale found in the US. {snip} It was written off. Deane - unless you are pulling my chain, I think you are missing the point. Inmates should not get any compensation whatsoever when falling off a wall while trying to escape from prison. You seem to be taking the contrary view - do you think it is ok for inmates to get ACC if they injure themselves while attempting to escape? I realise the bill was written off but to me it is symptomatic of the society we live in and the lack of compassion for victims. Facts : some a-hole is out on parole, doesn't meet any of his parole conditions for a period of time, goes on a drug-fuelled killing frenzy, gets priority hospital treatment for his injuries and the authorities send the wife of the deceased a bill???? What sort of sick world is this? Where is the compassion for the victim? Andrew

2008-02-14 09:36:00 | Yea so was I.... seems sarcasm is getting personal now... So you pick on ONE person and DON'T regard it as personal. I pick on a GROUP of people, of whom you are a part, and you regard THAT as personal? Interesting. Oh and for the Maori stand up before... they just got what they did to the people who were here before them. History repeats. Everywhere. For evermore.

2008-02-14 09:49:00 | Don't forget who developed Paper money, Abacus, Silk, Kites, Wheelbarrow, Compass, tea etc. to name but a few. If I recall correctly, the west still uses a majority of them these days. You lot owe us a lot. Paper money = Rampant inflation Abacus = Superceeded by computers Silk = Haven't owned any to try out Kites = Cool, but haven't seen a good one for years Wheelbarrow = Useful Compass = Why the hell couldn't you get that north thing right? Tea = Can't stand the stuff - the smell is diabolical. Coffee is a better solution
