He said of all the music he listened to and mimmicked, he really liked a group called White Lion. Although they weren't death metal (or even metal) he found their guitar work interesting and more challenging than most other harder groups. Ever heard of them, or played their music? The [step]son staying with us for the next month is into guitar as well, although he doesn't practice as much any more (no guitar.. leant it to a cousin who no longer knows where it is). | 640681 | 2008-02-15 18:44:00 | White Lion were a funny band, an excellent guitarist but i couldn't stomach the singer, sounded like he had just gulped a tonne of helium! I like Death Metal though, a very underrated music form. I still play guitar at least an hour or 2 a day but mainly just jamming along to CDs. After i got ripped off I have to rebuy my recording gears. Insurance didnt even cover the cost of any of that stuff.... |
