789694 2009-07-07 00:44:00 I opened a user account with IRD last month used it 2 times now I've forgotten my user name and password.
I guess I'll ring IRD this time to sort it out.

What is the best way to store/remember or save passwords when the site is used 1 or 2 times a year and wont let you save to FF?

Is there any software that would save these passwords?

789695 2009-07-07 00:53:00 Just save it on a notepad and hide the notepad in a folder full of files where no one would really be interested to go into. qazwsxokmijn (102)
789696 2009-07-07 00:55:00 Its probably because its IRD, its the same as bank sites. They wont let you save passwords either Speedy Gonzales (78)
789697 2009-07-07 01:04:00 Hi, I've used Password Safe for years ... it's a very safe method of storing passwords, etc, just use a very good (but easy to remember) master password for the safe.

Download it here: http://passwordsafe.sourceforge.net/

789698 2009-07-07 01:36:00 I keep all my passwords in an excel sheet. All my passwords are very similar so i just right down the first and the last letter. That way I remember what the password is. eg. if the password is pumkin... than just put down p..n but there are utilites available for keeping passwords. Just google it. ronyville (10611)
789699 2009-07-07 02:36:00 I use a "bookmarklet" (a bit of Javascript that you can store in a bookmark) called SuperGenPass. There's quite a bit of info out there on it (a good example here (mikeboylan.com)).

Worth a look, in my opinion.

I do similar. I don;t store the full password in excel , but a reference that helps me remember which one it is. That and account numbers (telecom, sky), ird numbers, web site login names, web site login email addresses, whatever you need to get back in.

Tried to download password.xpi, FF wouldn't let me install.
