789573 2009-07-06 12:32:00 Righto, This is blatant spam in the guise of a question, as I could probably sort it myself in a minute or so if I wished.

Anyway, I'm in the middle of building a website, For a company, That company happens to be Mrs Metla, In a nutshell its nails,False nails and manicures and other stuff that women with too much money and time on their hands are into.

where was I...ah yes, I have a page entitled Indulgences, when viewed with IE its blank, when viewed with Firefox its all sweet potatoes and gravy.

Any ideas?

Not all the pages have content but if people want to view the site with whatever browsers they use it would be appreciated, Though in truth I prefer to treat minoritys harshly.

789577 2009-07-06 13:12:00 Bugger - didn't read your post carefully enough - it's just the Indulgences page you are having problems with. IE8 doesn't like it.

Try getting rid of the inline styles at the top of the page (looks like that page may have been created using Word or Publisher) - delete everything from <style> to </style>...

Then get a CSS stylesheet set up and linked to each page to control your fonts and sizes...

EDIT: You might need to get rid of all the crap "MSO" and similar inline styles in the body of the page too... In fact, just stripping out those nasty MS tags would probably be enough, but we may as well be tidy kiwis!!

789578 2009-07-06 13:17:00 ah ha, I copied the text from a word document I made earlier. I'll redo it.

And I have no idea how to set up CSS stylesheet:lol:

And I just noticed none of that damn prices match up with the services when viewed in Firefox, There are spaces in the content that weren't there before.:stare:

789581 2009-07-06 21:12:00 Maybe a slide show would look good; I notice your meta tag description is the same as the meta keywords - Google my frown on that. Your site may get pushed back in the serps (search engine results pages). Try to briefly describe your meta description so that it relates to your site's business or purpose.

The meta description will display the site's description in the serp's - and will attract visitors if it's appealing/relevant to targeted searcher's, i.e. a increase it hits (if you want that). Applying H1, H2 tags supposed to help SEO - i.e. to get your site ranked by Google in the serps.

Perhaps add a contact skype number if possible...
