| 788745 | 2009-07-04 03:29:00 | Heyas, about a year or so ago, I donated a HP Pavilion 8905 to the local play centre. The mothers (and odd father) use ot for various things such as printing off digi-cam pics of their kids and various learning software etc. Very recently it died, and today I bought it home to look at. The PSU is very dead, though it does not appear to have taken anything with it (machine still boots ok with another normal sized PSU) Does anyone have a PSU that they will happily donate so I can get this computer up and running before next term? My funds right now are very limited, otherwise I would buy one. Thanks :) p.s the old PSU is 150W and yes, I did check the voltage switch at the back :p |

| 788748 | 2009-07-04 05:47:00 | I see that BST is actually Bestec. Is there a name for the smaller PSU's that came with the HP Pavilion towers. Anyway, its one of them that I require |

| 788753 | 2009-07-04 06:16:00 | 149mmx138mmx85mm Might be a tad bigWhich measurement is for which (i.e. is it width x height x depth?) The depth here is the important measurement. If its 138mm then yes it is too big as the PSU will hit the optical drive plug The PSU I have is 125mm (width) x 80mm (height) x 100mm (depth) |
