640723 2008-02-15 22:45:00 I'm another useless old retired buffer. Worked as a designer for years on Lightnings, TSR2, Concorde, Jaguar etc. Then the hopeless American supersonic transport (never stood a chance), after that a spell with Mattell where I met the lady who was the model for Barbie. (I'm still shaking).
Finally in NZ as an industrial designer on wood products - and finished up as a Tech Drg teacher for 18 years in a girls school where the infamous M Hobbs told me I didn't know how to draw!!
Gosh she was an expert at absolutely everything even without having studied anything.

Gave up at that point and retired - I used to help people with design work or computers. Still do a little now but don't charge for it.
TomThen she's ended up where she belongs really: politics!! :D

640727 2008-02-16 01:09:00 I am a technical support analyst for a company with over 300 stores, which most people here will go into often. :DAh, the local dairy. Greg (193)
640728 2008-02-16 01:19:00 Let me see now, Mornings I walk the dog. Afternoons I walk the dog. In between, I clean the house, mow the lawns, cook the meals and do the washing and ironing.

This is the price I pay for SWMBO trotting off to work each day while I enjoy retirement.

Mind you, being a bloke, I have systems for everything and the household chores only take a wee bit of my day. (I can see a flaming coming to me here)

Apart from that my limited computer knowledge is used to help a few other old codgers keep their computers going. In return I get home made/grown jam, pickles vegetables etc.
