If this is the case then how can you install the final version which is what they are implying you to do since it isn't released until later in the year. :groan:

Errrr - thats June 2010 (next year) Its only 2009 currently

Install XP. Leave 20gb or more of free space for Windows 7

Install 7 on the free space.

Done.

No need to configure bootloaders, or repair install.

So are you saying I didn't need to resize; just install it on the same partition with Windows XP?

WHen you install XP use only part of the disk and leave some free space

Then install Windows 7 on the free space as a seperate partition
