| 789401 | 2009-07-06 07:28:00 | DDR2 1066 is supported by AM2+ CPU for one DIMM per channel only. And this motherboard will only take AM2 and AM2+ and will support AM3 but you will have a degradation issue. www.asus.com en.wikipedia.org |

| 789402 | 2009-07-06 07:33:00 | According to the ASUS site FAQ for the mobo I plan to buy AM2+ CPU and DDR2 1066. I found on that forum that AM2+ CPU does not support more than one DDR2 1066 memory module per channel. Is this true? Yes, due to AMD CPU limitation, DDR2 1066 memory module is supported by AM2+ CPU for one DIMM per channel only. Please keep this limitation in mind when you purchase your DDR2 1066 memory module. Here's a list of what it can support (support.asus.com) |
