Buy Fairfax and do with the lot as YOU see fit. Convince Fairfax to make PressF1 a subscription site for which each member pays and ad free. Use ad blocking on this site. Go away and make the best help and chat forum in the world which of course will be ad free, free to all and will please all.. Throw your computer out and take up different interests like inventing perpetual motion. |

For a computer magazine too where one would expect the site to be an example. (Well it is!!). Still the advertisments are back. One day I may even have a look at them. Tom |

Maybe having slept on it the attitude toward ads may have changed. I was trying to point out that we all have choices. I choose what food I eat. I choose to drive on the left hand side of the road because it is the law and doing it this way helps to keep you alive for longer than would be the case otherwise. I do not ad block this site or any other site. There are some things (issues) that a person has no control over however. |

| 642443 | 2008-02-22 01:51:00 | Hey - they fixed the clock, they fixed the Calendar - got to have something to Bi**H about.:lol: Personally, its loading about the same for me with or without the new ads just added back in. About the only thing that I find slow is when posting it sometimes takes way to long for the post to insert. That and apart from the odd slowness - still pretty good. Seen lots worse sites. |
