| 641390 | 2008-02-18 05:13:00 | Interested as I am about Scott's Newsletter, he informs me that it would be best If I had a reader...and suggested Google-Reader...etc. What is it? How does it work? Do I need one? |

| 641391 | 2008-02-18 05:19:00 | Most sites have RSS feeds, FF and IE support them. So does Opera. Its just like going to the site and looking through their current news. Except, it'll get updated every so often, so you can select the feed from one of the above browsers. Click on the link, it'll take you to whatever site. What it means (en.wikipedia.org) Last time I did this with the MS site with Firefox it worked ok getting them, BUT then couldnt find them after. Dont know why. If you click on the link on the bottom of that site it'll add them to one of the above browsers. |

| 641393 | 2008-02-18 08:31:00 | I run FeedDemon (latest release is free), but find that it's so easy to subscribe to sites that I end up not keeping up with posts and getting swamped and having to "mark as read" . But it's a great concept . I find the RSS reader function in Opera not as user friendly as a purpose-built app . . . Haven't tried Google Reader . |
