| 790511 | 2009-07-10 02:03:00 | After installing Windows 7 on on partition and XP on the other (XP installed first), I am getting this error : Invalid boot.ini file Booting from d:\WINDOWS NTDETECT Failed. At first after installing 7, there was no entry for XP. So i created one using EasyBCD. But it said NTDETECT and ntldr was missing and had to download a copy. And then I extracted it to d:\. I'm pretty sure 7 deleted and messed up some of Xp's system files. |
