| 790491 | 2009-07-10 00:13:00 | Hi, Recently I bought a new video card for my PC,because I had problems with the other one.My new card is HD 4850.Everything seems to work just fine and I have had no problems so far,but since I put the new video card I can't hear the POST (power on self test) of my computer anymore. Is this bad and what should I do? Also the new video card has an auxiliary power requirement slot in which I connected two cables from the pc's power supply. Can this be the cause for the no post sound ? |

| 790493 | 2009-07-10 00:27:00 | the card is 6 pin,and i connected 2 3-pin cables into it.the cable that came with the card is for 2 3-pin cables on one of the ends and with 6 pin on the other end which goes into the video. | emes34 (11736) | ||

What I understand is that the PC works fine at the moment with the new video card, just that when it boots up, he doesnt see/hear the POST screen anymore as he did when he had the older video card. |
