One file fixes the zero day activex hole, the other removes it. Its a workaround, it has just been discovered, so there is no patch for it at the mo. It doesnt say what version of IE it affects, but the Symantec site says IE 6 and 7 are affected, but IE 8 isnt affected (altho I'm using IE 8 here, and used the fix for the time being). It doesnt affect Vista or 2008, but the PCWorld site (www.pcworld.com ml) says you can use the fix on Vista and 2008

There is also info about it on the Herald site (www.nzherald.co.nz). It affects XP and Server 03
