641445	2008-02-19 04:35:00	I don't know what's worse - bad drivers, or road rage. Sure, most the time bad drivers cause road rage, but then there's a good number of stuck up and impatient people. They may not be classed as bad drivers, but they can cause an accident just as easily. Road rage is worse than bad drivers. There is no reason whatsoever to loose your cool. I'm not trying to make excuses for bad drivers, but you are sinking well below their level (or the level where you think they are) and there is nothing that they have done that should make you stoop so low.:rolleyes: Certainly it is frustrating, but don't make yourself look a stupid fool as well.:annoyed:	Roscoe (6288)
641446	2008-02-19 06:36:00	I get into a habit of trying to pee them off . I go slow I follow all the speed rules, if I can do 40 I do that, if I can go lower I do that, I try to take as much time as I can, esp to those who tailgate . I try to get behind a slow car so they have 2 cars to overtake, I give way to other cars pulling out of a park and pedestrians anyway I can . The other day came from a 80 to 100 zone, I was on the left going like 95 96 something, he went on the right lane and overtook me and there was a van with a camera attaches - :p In the past I have been pushed aside, 2 lane become 1 and I was ahead and on the right lane, it was a van with a baby child which I saw, he just accelerated and pushed me off to the other side of the road . I think NZ is bad, remembering of course NZ does have less car traffic compared to other major cities of the world . If NZ did have more traffic, they may just get more worst . I do more international travelling than within NZ, NZ has a fantastic road system, it is so well maintained, sometimes I think what is the point of having the state of the art roading system when you are limiting stuff when you compare NZ to larger countries with greater standards of living and economic growth and crime control . NZ has so much road paint on the road, so many road signs, so many barrier fences, even signs telling drivers that this is a accident prone zone . The NZ motor vehicles overall is v good as well, NZ cars are on the whole v modern .	Nomad (952)

If it weren't for Asians, we as a country would be much better at driving (no offense Jamuz) yes/no. i don't think race makes a big difference. however i spent some time today being driven around by a **** thats from part of asia. 40km/h on open road, parked blocking half the road on an exit of a blind corner and stood beside the car as an on coming car squeezed past. gee these guys where totally ignorant on how fast people go and how much danger they put themselves in.	tweak'e (69)

Yeah, but then there are all the very un-asian kiwi blokes who think driving like a total pratt up your backside at 110km just to give you the message that they want to pass you (because 110KM is too slow for them), is perfectly acceptable. My recent open road driving has sometimes been scary in the just plain stupod driving I've seen, including passing on blind corners, turning right dangerously in the face of on-coming traffic when you can see a good clear gap coming up just a few cars way, driving nose to tail at high speed, etc etc. All of which puts some other innocent driver at risk in the grand lottery of stupidity on our roads. There is without doubt a large number of kiwi drivers who don't drive with their brains engaged and can't think or see one car ahead. It doesn't really matter whether they are worse than drivers elsewhere. They are still bad, whatever way you look at it.	Biggles (121)

You non-Asian folks driving your V6/8 Holdens and Fords.....geez, just cause I have a 4 cylinder weakling you think you can safely overtake me?
