I find this interesting - I don't use Firefox and really don't want to swop over. But the question I have now is :-
"How do you get onto PCWorld?"
I don't use IE when I want to get on - I go into Outlook Express and just click on the link from the last email PCWorld has sent me telling me about some more replies.
This I find convenient and until things slowed up was also pretty fast. So I don't use IE and in fact would not use firefox, which seems to me a rather clumsy way of getting on. Am I missing something?

Yes I am missing something.

I hadn't realised that OE needs IE or something similar to operate. I do now, and I have Firefox up as my default device.
I have got rid of the adverts and regained control of PCWorld site, but found there are problems.
Firefox took some time to get up and running. Now I find it definitely slower than IE in certain circumstances. It is not as stable (this is the second attempt to write this - I lost the first attempt) and I can find no way to spell check whereas in IE it was easy to use WORDWEB.
As my spelling mistakes are being underlined I presume a spell checker is available somewhere. Perhaps somebody can help me find it.

642468 2008-02-26 03:33:00 What version of Firefox are you using, Thomas01, your spell checker should just be working whenever you type in the later versions, after 2 I think, it underlines the wrongly spelled words when you type them in the text box for this site for instance. zqwerty (97)

The Latest version.
It does underline the wrongly spelled words but so far I haven't been able to get it to show me a list of suggested replacements like IE does with WordWeb.
Or like every other spell checker I have.
Perhaps it doesn't have this function and I have to be able to spell the word myself. Gosh life gets difficult.

Dead right.
Never thought to try this.
Now it looks as thought I am I am hooked on Firefox.
Thanks again.
