| 642245 | 2008-02-20 22:57:00 | NO! NO NO NO NO NO!!! If you value sanity, DO NOT WATCH THOSE VIDEOS!!! I know of a few peeps who have seen the Daniel Pearl vid. Lets just say that they will now regret it for the rest of their lives. Same goes with any of those shock sites and/or vids |

| 642246 | 2008-02-20 23:22:00 | I guess I just didn't feel like I could be 'outraged' or whatever about that kind of thing happening if I hadn't been brave enough to watch it. I didn't mean to be contradictory, sorry - I didn't watch the video in a voyeuristic way (I certainly got no pleasure from it!). I just feel strongly about what's going on over there, and I wanted to have an informed opinion on things. Sounds similar to morals campaigner Patricia Bartlett who founded the Society for the Promotion of Community Standards. Famous for her vigorous opposition to what she saw as declining public morals, she needed to go and see the first nude show in NZ, "Hair," and nude films, just so she could experience righteous indignation. She also said that she "certainly got no pleasure from it" but still had to go to the next naughty film. :illogical |

You can never understand everything, and you should never try. Open your mind, and fill it with sh1t really. But take a step back and actually be a little sane. It's gross. Someone died. Do you really want to see someone die? Yes? Get help. | Thebananamonkey (7741) | ||

Do you really want to see someone die? Yes? Get help. Did I want to see it? No, but I think it was important enough to overlook that this one time - I won't be doing it again. And I don't think your logic is sound there either; I don't want to be beheaded myself! I just don't think you can fully understand something until you've been exposed to it some way. And I don't think anyone really believes that having an open mind will lead to a head full of cow manure; in fact it's close-minded attitudes like that that cause half the problems in this world IMHO |

As for death, well, The faces of death vids were around when I was a kid, Nothing new there. Though the 2 russians cutting that guys head off with a big arse knife is an eye opener. And some real nasty vids of people getting killed on bikes were recently posted on kiwibikjer.co.nz...... |

| 642252 | 2008-02-21 11:06:00 | You have got to wonder at someones state of mind when they purposely watch another human being deliberately and brutally mutilated. I remember many years ago seeing a news clip of I think a South Vietnamese commander shooting a prisoner in the head with the blood squirting out. I wasn't expecting it and was sickened to see this person murdered before my eyes. That shocking scene has stayed with me all thee years. So to seek out someone being mutilated or killed on the net...? NO.....! | Robinz (9362) | ||
| 642253 | 2008-02-21 11:27:00 | Exactly - my brother is really into the whole conspiracy thing regarding Osama, 9/11 and the whole war . . . . I think a lot of it is a flight of fancy, but there's some compelling 'co-incidences' etc that are hard to explain away! I think, one day, the truth will come out, and it could well bring America to it's knees . What compelling co-incidences? I mean I've seen people get beaten up by the police in front of me and also a very famous singer get gunned down right in front of our car and also seen the beheadings they do in Saudi Arabia (its quite cool how everyone brings their family and has a picnic before) so these videos aren't that shocking actually . |
