Incorrect. Just like DX10 requiring compliant video cards (8000 series and up for Nvidia for example), DX11 is going to require new GPU's. This is evident by AMD beginning to tout their upcoming first-to-market DX11 cards, link here:

790693 2009-08-12 22:13:00 Also, it's worth getting yourself some decent RAM and going 64-bit. 4GB RAM is becoming pretty standard, plus graphics cards that are 512MB -> 1GB, so you kind of *need* to go x64. Not that its a bad thing, just something to be aware of :) Chilling_Silence (9)
