| 641585 | 2008-02-25 09:58:00 | Maybe I am a whimp but I don't drive at 50km many times. It may go around a corner or around a blind corner. It may be a suburban street in case I run over someone's kid, I may need to go a bit wider with the parked cars, pedestrian crossings, cars that may pull out of parking slots. I don't speed up fast and brake hard just so I can get the most of the time up there at the 50km mark. Don't remember school areas are not 50km even in suburban. In some CBDs they are now not 50km afaik. Lol this guy does swear a lot ... haha ..:lol: he probably thinks he's too :cool: and too good for us. Love to backup the traffic if I see him in person, he'll probably end on the front page doing stupid things. Like in a body bag. Sign up for a James Bond .. eh .. maybe Johnny English :thumbs: |

| 641587 | 2008-02-26 20:25:00 | I hate it when someone sits on your arse then overtakes in a crazy place and immediatly after they have done the crazy overtaking move they promptly turn off into a driveway or a side street. :groan: Something similar happened to me yesterday. I was in a one-laned road (2 lanes actually, but one lane for each direction), doing 55 and this guy was tailgating me and as soon as the road became 2-laned for each direction, he overtook me quite fast then cut in front of me to turn into the BP service station on the left. D'uh...couldn't he have waited a few more seconds behind me then turn into BP?! |

Any driver who travels less than the speed limit and slows other drivers is I feel being inconsiderate to every other driver that they effect period, while so called frustrated drivers like myself have no effect on anyone else while we travel at the speed limit. Nomads comment about slowing traffic up and generalisations of Newspaper print really show up some of the idiotic posts in this thread... Good day |

| 641589 | 2008-02-26 23:03:00 | Have to remember starting drivers drive slower on the open roads. When I was learning to drive, I hardly ever went faster than 90. Nobody seemed to mind. I do 100 now, but I don't mind if I have to slow down to 90 if someone in front of me is doing that speed. |

Where did I say I tailgate or that I was the best driver . Maybe you should take care to read peoples posts 1st before making rash judgments . It stands to reason that slow drivers affect EVERYONE, how can you dispute this? |
