643144 2008-02-24 10:14:00 Anybody heard of this?

You txt your name and suburb and they send back all this information about you.

Anybody could send your name and suburb and they will find out all this stuff about you.

How would they get this information? Do they pluck it/scan your sent txts or google you or what?

643145 2008-02-24 11:22:00 I think it's just google + databases they've got access to. Have you tried it? roddy_boy (4115)
643146 2008-02-24 12:00:00 I havent tried it, just hear them advertising on the radio.

643147 2008-02-24 17:26:00 I'm with you Rob - why would you pay $3 to learn stuff about yourself (assuming they get the right ID) that you already know. Google is free, if you're that way inclined! johcar (6283)
643148 2008-02-24 17:29:00 In fact, from their Terms and Conditions:
with respect to Our response to any 'who am I' type questions You accept and
understand that- (i) Our answer may indeed be correct and or accurate– but (ii) frequently Our answer is not correct nor accurate and may in fact be entirely wrong and without any intention on Our part– possibly even offensive to You. - so they could even make it up and still justify getting paid!!

643149 2008-02-24 20:22:00 Yeah, I tried it, just to see how good it actually was.

The Google thing is probably right, the info is pretty sketchy.

643150 2008-02-25 01:52:00 I just thought it was strange. They are advertising like they are telling facts.
Weird.
