790291 2009-07-09 09:33:00 I have a PC with the following specs:
CPU: Intel x86 2.4GHz
RAM: 768MB
Onboard VGA, unknown chip

Firefox uses around 75-100% of the CPU when I click a link or use tabs, and stays at 100% when a flash game is running. Is this normal for a machine such as this? I thought it would be fine.

790292 2009-07-09 09:41:00 Maybe an addon is causing this

Start it in safe mode(run>firefox.exe -safe-mode) and see if it happens

790295 2009-07-09 11:36:00 No safe mode didn't help. I would like to try an older version, but I can't find an installer. Anyone know a good link? sammo450 (13626)

Here you go:

www.oldversion.com

Scan it with your AV after you download it.
