644817 2008-02-29 04:48:00 HI Guys

I am getting very angry with websites that do not give you contact details.

On some of them it is impossible to find a contact phone number, or postal address or email address !

Examples include

Sky TV
Norton

Some want you to go through an amazing log in and password routine that creates lots of hassles if you have forgotten you password for them or their pin number eg

Vodaphone

If you have similar hassles, please list the webs sites here. (I have forgotten the others)

644821 2008-02-29 08:18:00 When I get a web site that I need to contact and they don't have an address, I email all the following
info@website, sales@website, webmaster@website, complains@website, manager@website, ceo@website and cio@website.
Some get bounced but I usually get a hit with 2 or 3 of them. If there are different people for each address I usually get an answer.

Words like "reverse the credit card transaction" "legal action" "commerce commission" and "fairgo" usually get results too (don't use them all at once though).

Good idea Kahawai

But I still feel they should have the decency and courage to list some email contacts.

Brilliant Porkster !

I will try to remember that !

But as I said above I still think these large corporations should have the decency and courage to list a few contact addresses and NOT hide them away.

644825 2008-03-01 08:06:00 Or easier yet, use your web browser's search and find function, type in 'contact' and press enter.

I've been to so many websites that have some sort of 'Contact Us' button. However, these sites are poorly constructed with all sorts of colorful, annoying and frankly useless graphics and fonts that manage to distract the eyes from what they are actually looking for.

How is having a link to a "contact us" page up the top or down the bottom hiding them?
