| 791550 | 2009-07-14 03:02:00 | Hi and thanks in advance for any advice. Computer went fine yesterday morning. Last night went to use, and wouldn't start. Looking inside, I can see a black mark across a section of the board, close to the video card. The card also has this on it, but I feel it is probably not the cause. I can see the board is getting power to it. So apart from replacing the board, which I think is a given, what am I up for? It is around 3 years old (socket 939), so that has implications as well. Sigh. Thanks |
