791532 2009-07-14 02:37:00 I have a data base in an Excell worksheet. The data consists of boat names, the owners details and boat details. I want to show all the details for an individual boat in a form that can be -
(a) amended
(b) a new boat added to
(c) the form able to be printed.

I can bring up a form within the work sheet (Data, Form) but -
(a) I can't size the form which I would like to do.
(b) can't be printed.
That particular form would suit my purpose fine if i could resolve the above mentioned issues

791533 2009-07-14 04:05:00 Why can't you print it?

Why can't you size it?
The thing with Excel is you can make any form you like with it.
You can have different sizes for certain cells, rows and columns, you can amend and format anything at all in it.

It may take a bit of fiddling around to get the layout in a way you like, but it certainly is possible.

What issue are you having exactly?

791534 2009-07-14 05:13:00 I can work up the worksheet, size and print such. What I am wanting to do is printout a A5 sized sheet (form) that relates to the worksheet. Chads (7058)

791536 2009-07-14 08:14:00 Hi

The issue with the Data > Form is that it is essentially a dialogue box so you can't naturally print or resize it.

If you want to create a customised form in Excel 2003, then the following tutorial should help:

P.S. I haven't tested this particular tutorial and the ability to print records via the form.......
