791503 2009-07-13 22:32:00 Anybody tried this?
Apparently speeds will be restricted during peak hours, but to what speed, (Dial up?)
Coming to the end of my monthly allowance and am thinking of trying "Huge" but would like opinions first:)

791506 2009-07-13 23:14:00 I'm on the old Go Large plan, unlimited downloads for $49.95. Youtube doesn't stream smoothly (which my friends on capped plans can do). But it is still faster than dialup. I'm not sure who first said it will 'slow to dial up' but they don't know what they are talking about. I get speeds ranging from 5k to 650kB (saturating the 128kbit upload) depending on the site. But most of the time the speed ranges between 40-170kB.

Although I do get slower speeds I assume between 4pm and midnight as it is a full speed plan during the day. I think the new big time plan limits from 9am to 2am.

791509 2009-07-14 06:50:00 Have a look at this thread on Geekzone. (www.geekzone.co.nz)

There is quite a bit to read, the results are mixed and it's only in it's early stages. So it pays to watch and see what happens
