I your case that is probably true.

644306 2008-03-01 23:56:00 So if you drop an EEEEEPC does it just break?
Guess I could go and drop one and find out.

They dint overlook anything. They had to make the screen small(er) to make it cheaper. And no, the EEE PC is able to take a stunning amount of punishment before it breaks. I'll try and find the video link.

Well they may have made it small enough but they didn't get the resolution right from what I read - that would be a UI design oversight.

When I used it, the resolution seemed fine. Website rendered beautifully and text was crisp. I mean its probably not DVD quality but thats not what your going to do with it.

The report I saw said that they were going to look at increasing the screen resolution with the next EEEEPC. I think it regarded general use rather than watching DVDs.

644312 2008-03-02 04:33:00 Small, hi-res screens are sweet. What's the Eee PC's native at the moment? 800x600? sal (67)

I believe that was the issue.

Hmmm...seemingly spontaneous insertions of Apple marketing dribble.....What other member of the apple fan club couldn't stop himself from doing exactly that.

Should we now look forward to apple financial reports to show us that the Air is te awesome?
