645000 2008-03-01 03:56:00 I'm more bothered by the fact that you were out drinking in a nightclub with your mates when you have (as I understand from your previous posts) a very pregnant partner at home.

She's the one who has my sympathy.Ah c'mon, perhaps he was doing a little prep for wetting the baby's head ;)

645001 2008-03-01 04:55:00 Sorry I missed out a couple of words. I meant to say I wasnt 'that' drunk.

The walk was only 10 minutes max as I live quite close to town. People wanted to fight me because I didnt have a woman with me? What logic is that?

Dean: The reason I didn't call the cops straight away is simple. Who do you ring when a couple of fellas are trying to beat you down?

Some people do leave out words, which of course, means that those people whom do try to comprehend the post may come up with an inaccurate conclusion.

Then also in Hamilton we had a young person who claimed she was dragged off London St and interfered with. The Police have since charged her with making a false complaint.

There is no logic in their actions at all.

Back around 1960 I was in the Army. Walking down a Wellington street with a lady on my arm at around 9 pm. I was in Army dress uniform.
A teddy boy (does any here remember them?) stepped out of a shop doorway with a switch knife. He further offered some insulting comments toward the lady.
I took the knife off him and left him lying on the footpath. He was concious. I broke the knife by putting it over the gutter and stood on it. I put both pieces in my pocket.

After my leave was over I returned to Waiouru where I was stationed at that time.

A few weeks later I had a visit from the local police asking why I had beat up this responsible citizen.

I still had his knife. Passed this on to the police and have never heard a word since.

645002 2008-03-01 05:12:00 I must say that I further agree that all people should be able to walk the sreets and feel safe as some people have mentioned.

Once upon a time everyone left their doors unlocked.

Sadly, not so today.

But should we try Vigilante groups? Death penalty for parking in a disabled car park when you do not have the permission?

Or perhaps we might have total anarchy where everyone whom disagrees with another have the immediate right of execution.

I guess that will depend on whom gets the most p**d o** first.

645003 2008-03-01 05:22:00 Nope, Not vigilante groups.

How about we give some power back to the police, parents and schools in relation to disciplining children/teens.

And have the police look out for honest folk, rather then spend their time issuing tickets to them.

645004 2008-03-01 05:28:00 I was once stopped by three morons who pulled screwdrivers and crap on me because they wanted to have the burger I was eating, I made a bad bad mess of all three of them.
Never ask Metla for his burger.

3 cheers for the death penalty.

Have you been watching the Real crime series of documentries over the last couple of weeks?, all of them so far deserve the death penalty, and none of them were convicted on the basis of one wrong witness. It was lifetime of escalating and brutal crime with dozens of victims, the expense of millions of dollars and a culmination in crimes so horrendous that they finally got half the punishment they deserve.
Watched the last one - I do blame the Taffy's parents for a big part in the making of this monster.....but I also still think he should just be executed. He's useless, will never be of any use to society - in fact he's just leeching off us. He doesn't care about life anymore and his friend can confirm that.

And just my :2cents: on the people who assaults people with absolutely no provocation, like in Rob's case or the 4 people attacked in North Shore - people like that should just be shot on sight. No questions asked. They attack someone for no reason, shoot them dead.

They don't deserve to live, not even in Alcatraz. Well, maybe in Alcatraz.

645005 2008-03-01 05:45:00 Ok . My son and a friend - a very large maori guy, very, very large - broke down in Henderson . He called his cousin to come help them and were standing around outside the car waiting when 3 young guys came up and decided to pick a fight . One was carrying a signpost .

He attacked my sons friend with it, he held up his arm and let them snap this meaty hunk of wood over it, then he snatched it off the guy and threw it on to the lawn nearby .

Still didn't put them off as there were more of them, so my son and mate got back in their car and got the cellphone back out and made another call . Not actually to the cops as he wanted to see if it was going to be necessary first .

Young guys ran off .

This was late afternoon BTW .

Now my sons mate was quite capable of taking them all apart, he's huge, not fat - tall and muscular . But he's not like that .

645007 2008-03-01 06:21:00 There's only one way to deal with scum and that is to pummel them within an inch of their lives each and every time they get above themselves.

You can't reason with idiots, they only understand one thing and that is force.

Remember you are dealing with un-evolved, ignorant apes disguised as human beings.

Good on you rob_on_guitar, wish I had been there to give you a helping hand.

Yea, until you kill someone in self defense and have to live with that for the rest of your life.

If I killed someone who attacks people just because he wants to, I'll feel so much pride and joy.
