644668 2009-02-24 08:55:00 I am so glad I found you guys! I am looking for the words of the same poem! I learned it in grade 4! The first part is exactly as JCR1 posted on 28/2/08. The rest is something like this:
So at bong number one they all started to run like a warren of rabbits, upset by a gun;
At bong no 2 they...... (something missing)fling cap after tunic and hose after shoe;
At bong no 3 they were bare to the knee and do their doings as quick as can be;
At bong no 4 they were stripped to the core and pull on their knightshirts, the wrong side before;
At bong no 5, they were looking alive and buzzing and buzzing like bees in a hive;
At bong no 6, they give themself kicks as they trip over the ruches to sniff out the wicks;
At bong no 7; from Durhamm to Devon, they slip up a prayer to our Father in heaven;
At bong no 8, it was fatal to wait! they jump bong into bed like a bull at the gate!
I do hope somebody's mind is enlightend now and will be able to complete the whole poem for us!

644669 2009-02-24 18:05:00 These 2 were Saxon kings and William was the first Norman king following his big win at the battle of Hastings but then the Normans were actually Vikings who had settled in the Normandy region of France and assimilated themselves with the locals. gary67 (56)

644671 2009-02-24 19:07:00 Well simple then, William the C was king number three.

Poms are pretty arrogant they say Royal Navy, Royal Air force etc as if they are the only royal ones in the world but there are buku monarchies. Everyone else has to put a nation indicator after the royal.

And we say RNZAF but we don't say RNZSPCA normally.

644673 2009-02-24 23:29:00 Thats because unlike Aussie Sweepo, the SPCA here in NZ hasnt got a royal warrant. prefect (6291)
644674 2009-02-24 23:54:00 Thats because unlike Aussie Sweepo, the SPCA here in NZ hasnt got a royal warrant.

This is the RNZSPCA's version

"The national governing body of the organisation is the National Council, elected at the AGM by representatives from the districts. Each of the 54 local SPCAs incorporates in its title the name of the district in which it operates. For example - the Waikato Branch RNZSPCA; Canterbury Branch RNZSPCA; and so on. Not all local SPCAs are "branches". A small number are member societies, some the original ones from last century. These member societies do not use "RNZ" in their name (eg Wellington SPCA, Otago SPCA)."
