| 643737 | 2008-02-26 09:26:00 | I use a Mac all day at work (have for the last year or so, 24" iMac) and TBH, as close as it is I prefer to use Vista OS X is all fine and good but the novelty has worn off (even what came with Leopard) and I feel more productive in Windows. I have no problems using OS X, I'm actually quite adept in both Vista and OS X, but despite the usual pros of OS X over Vista (can't think of any ATM but i'm sure there's some good ones) again I prefer Vista. That's my two cents anyway. Greg: PC vs Mac is the usual divide and then others say Macs are PCs (personal computers) too. I like them coming up now and then here while it's obvious others get pissed off, lol. |

Thats awesome lol. Macs are waaaaaay better than a PC. They're all shiny and um... wait, did I mention shiny and the fact that they dont have to be shut down (WTF was that anyway) You mean not be one Sal, but thats how most Mac fanboys work: Macs are better, we just cant tell you why... |

They were obviously very pleased and surprised I think as well by how well the mac worked and felt like sharing the experience. It is not an unusual thing on this forum to see posts recommending some product that the user has found to be good and want to express their opinion about it. Just because a mac is mentioned it seems to bring out mob mentality here and all the inane comments. In case you haven't noticed this is a computer forum and is not restricted to just Windows operating systems. | 643741 | 2008-02-26 11:38:00 | I almost gave semi-serious thought to buying a mac, but decided that since I was trying for the bill boards, I would buy a Tui . It wasn't so bad, but the morrow will reveal whether it was a good idea or a pain in the fundament . The Tui was alright, but the mac can wait for another day, since I decided to buy an iCe cream iNstead . So, although I didn't actually try one, I must report no negative mac experiences in the last 3 days . The ice cream was pretty cool though . In fact the whole mac experience leads me to believe that I will probably have another iCe cream tomorrow . Or a few beers . |
