643637 2008-02-29 21:07:00 Pato,

I do not have the March DVD but have you checked the specifications of your computer against what is required to run this simulator?

643638 2008-02-29 21:30:00 I take it you've got a DVD / DVD burner installed. Not just a normal cd / cd writer??

That'll be the other reason why nothing is working.

If it is a DVD, take it back get another one.

Tell the shop its faulty

643641 2008-02-29 22:20:00 No problem with Flight Sim here, on XP. I just played it straight off the DVD, using VLC
Excuse my ignorance but what is VLC.?

The Flight Sim program says "Loading" but won't go beyond that. Any clues on what I could try. I am getting another copy of the DVD (hopefully) in case I have a faulty one.

643644 2008-02-29 22:45:00 I have discovered that none of the DVD programs will load. I tried the series of "how-to videos" on the April 07 DVD and they wouldn't load either whereas I had no trouble loading them before. It appears something is amiss somewhere. Can anyone advise where I should start looking please.? Pato (2463)
643645 2008-02-29 22:58:00 Do they appear in My computer tho??

Try this (www.microsoft.com)

If the cd/dvd has a menu, but it doesnt open.

Run it then see if it detects any errors, in the 1st screen. If it does let it fix it, then try again.

Take the cd/dvd out first.
