I can post links if required. Fair enough. |

| 643844 | 2008-03-04 02:02:00 | Fair enough. I think AUT's North Shore campus has been set up based on Intel Macs running VMware so that they can have XP and Vista loaded as well. There was an article in the NZ Herald about it just recently. According to the article the guys involved with the set up did a demo for other IT depts from other campuses around the country (lots of IT guys asking LOTs of questions) they were suitably impressed. |

It might have been the arts and new media dept initially (bearing in mind that the road show was demoing to IT depts from a number of institutes) although I would see the adoption process gradually moving through being that science and medical is where its at. A number of the Harvard MIT professors in the US are Mac users. |

| 643848 | 2008-03-04 04:15:00 | Bootcamp is not an emulator Metla Bootcamp allows Windows XP to run NATIVELY on the Mac. When you run Windows XP on your Mac you are running Windows XP exactly the same as if you purchased a PC with a Intel Core Duo. My bad, Though someone who buys a Mac to install windows to run games is a tosser. |

Or they are just someone who wants a Mac for what it does but still wants to be able to play PC games or to test Windows/multi-platform apps or use some particular Windows only app at their place of work along side their regular Mac apps. |

| 643850 | 2008-03-04 06:08:00 | I love the sexy time with the penis. Whoa, I don't care. Why the **** would you want to direct your worthless dribble at me, Go converse with some moron that thinks you speak anything worth reading. When you are capable of differentiating between marketing and real world applications then perhaps your condition would have improved enough to participate in a real world discussion. |

No where in this thread does he say that. Anyhow, this is soooo tedious. Nothing that we haven't heard a million times over on that topic so why do you even take the bait? Keep it clean and nice or the thread will be closed. |

Nothing that we haven't heard a million times over on that topic so why do you even take the bait? Take the bait? Its a great excuse to be a bastard to deluded Apple groupies, and they obviously love it. |
