| 791615 | 2009-07-14 08:50:00 | What toolbars have you installed? Stuffed / corrupt files can crash explorer.exe. Or what did you install recently, before it crashed? Did you install anything like daemontools / incd recently? Post a HJT log, that may tell us (if it works). Is FF working ok (If you use it)? |

| 791617 | 2009-07-14 09:05:00 | WHat did you install JUST before the system froze. Did you change any settings, or install anything new. What you can try now is open command prompt(run>cmd) then type sfc /scannow and hit enter. It may ask for your winXP CD. Blam |

Then see if it crashes O23 - Service: Symantec Core LC - Unknown owner - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\CCPD-LC\symlcsvc.exe If service.exe is currently running kill it then after you reboot, find it then delete it. Or kill it then delete it then reboot. Then explorer.exe may work Dont forget to disable system restore first then turn it back on after you reboot |
