| 646743 | 2008-03-08 03:52:00 | I wear a suit and tie or sport coat and tie about 5 times a week . . or more . I have never had a problem with them as far as choking, nausea or dizziness or blacking-out problems . I wear mine to size and have over 100 ties from which to chose . I am retired, but as a mechanic I didn't have to wear a tie anyway . Occasionally I have a formal reason to wear a tie/coat, and I look forward to black tie . . even tails or morning coat from time to time . I used to attend the opera (The Old "Met" in New York) and formal attire WAS NECESSARY: studs, cuff links and cummerbund too . Going formal does not mean a death sentence . . . |

| 646745 | 2008-03-08 05:08:00 | Fashion is conformity in fancy dress. Might as well all be in uniform. I couldn't care less if someone turned up naked or in a patch - so long as I had invited them. They could even wear silly bits of cloth round their necks if they insist. OK pctech. Some men wear ties and others do not. Please note that I have not actually bought a tie in many years. Someone gave me a wide one sometime back and I think it went to the tip. I know I never wore it. The ties I use today come from the '60s and '70s. I just knew that I should keep them. My Father used to wear a double breasted pin stripe suit and I see some people doing the same today. BTW. Has the price of cloth gone up as I see a few females wearing miniskirts these days. I am not talking about residents of an area that has red lights and in fact we have no traffic lights where I live. Then we might discuss models and fashion for ladies. I would not judge a book by its cover but some things models wear do not enhance the male experience. Of course the tie (s) worn by men may also show what school they went to and etc. I will now go and rinse the blood of my toga or loin cloth as the case may be. Am I invited to your dinner party yet? :( |

I suggest you re read my previous entry in this thread . I didn't write the report mentioned . The Germans did . For me the evidence was enough to persuade me that wearing a tie can, and in fact has already meant a death sentence for some people . If my old friend had listened to me then perhaps he would still be alive . I decided I was not going to take the risk . Tom |

Which is deficient between the two of you, and in what? I probably read it wrong. Thankfully, SWMBO does not have that amount of acreage - she's only a wee girl. But if she did, I would most definitely discourage it. My two daughters are much better endowed than SWMBO in that department. My youngest dressed that way some time ago and I protested. I told her that if she wanted to dress like that she would not be coming with us. After some words she decided to change. But I don't instruct my dearest how to dress. She always looks good. I was just making the point that I disagree with boobs hanging out like that. I can't imagine that she would do that even if she had more than a handful - which I think is enough for most men to go on with, don't you? I often wonder what would happen if these women had a coughing fit? I think they might be in danger of falling out all over the place!:waughh: But if SWMBO did dress like that, I would say the same as I said to my daughter and would not go out with her with her chest only just under control. But I do admit to a bit of mischievous stirring now and again.:) |
