| 646103 | 2008-03-07 07:10:00 | Its called a Student Loan. We're not in the US where basically every blog starts with "If you don't mind dipping into your kids college trust fund..." Good comeback  |

| 646104 | 2008-03-07 07:51:00 | Ok, if you don't mind spending your money on something that's effectively meaningless. If you don't mind not buying a nicer car, a big LCD screen... almost anything. SSD's are out, but there's no way I'd pay for one at the price they are at the moment. Whatever the simile. | Thebananamonkey (7741) | ||

SSD's are out, but there's no way I'd pay for one at the price they are at the moment. Whatever the simile. As with any emerging technology the early adopters always pay the high price. Give it 6 months and the price to capacity ratio will start to improve markedly. The SSD does allow for extreme slimness in the design as well as allowing the "instant on" effect and is not damaged by shakes and knocks like a regular HD. |

The original EeePC was released here weeks before it was in the US. The EeePC with WinXP is not due to launch there till the 9th April, yet it is being sole in DSE stores here now. |

The MBP track pad technology is patented (multi finger use patent) by Apple so unless Apple licenses it they will need to find some other way of doing it. www.engadget.com or they can have fun with Apple Legal.:D |
